Sam Altman- CEO of OpenAI, launched ‘GPT-4o’ on Monday — a new version of its GPT-4 model which is capable of producing any combination of text, audio, and image results. GPT-4o’s text and image-generating features have been introduced for all ChatGPT users. The company is offering access to GPT-4o in the free tier, and to Plus users with up to 5 times higher message limits.
OpenAI will soon introduce a new version of Voice Mode along with GPT-4o in alpha. Altman posted on X that their new model GPT-4o is a smart and fast model. All ChatGPT users can access it and offer it on the free plan. So far, GPT-4 class models have been available to those who pay a monthly subscription fee. Further, he said that they want to put AI tools in everyone’s hands.
